Paramedical Courses in interdisciplinary medical subjects are becoming enormously important in Health Care Systems. In the recent years, there has been a growing need for qualified and well-trained Para Medical personnel who form an integral component of medical profession. In order to meet the increasing demand for qualified and trained Para Medical personnel it is necessary to impart the training to the eligible and interested students.
State Paramedical Council (RUN UNDER PARAMEDICAL AND NATUROPATHY EDUCATION COUNCIL) conducts autonomous paramedical programs (Diploma/ Certificate). State Paramedical Council aims to provide quality education in the basic/specialised/advance areas of the paramedical. The course is designed to develop paramedical by nurturing knowledge State Paramedical Council is a non-University intuition. All programs of the State Paramedical Council are autonomous and do not fall under the preview of UGC/AICTE/MCI or any other Medical Board.
This body was functioning under its constitution. By laws to ensure and promote quality in the paramedical courses. OBJECTIVES
- Various laboratory tests independently without an error, perform, investigative or curative procedures with accuracy and precision as a responsible professional and thereby assist the clinicians in diagnosis and treatment.
- Manage laboratories or units confidently with adequate knowledge to handle, operate and take care of various equipment, instruments and materials used.
- Develop initiative and competence in order to avail self employment opportunities.
- Develop expertise to perform various tests and to interpret the results.
- Fulfil the need of qualified manpower and well-trained para medical personnel who will contribute a lot to Health Care services and Patient care system.
- The successful candidates after the period of training will become eligible for appointment as Technicians or Assistants in various departments of Medical / Dental College, Hospitals, Primary Health Centers, Clinical Laboratories at district and taluk level, Nursing Homes and also in other schemes of National Health Programmes. The Para Medical Courses provide great employment opportunities and also ensures the availability of sufficient number of qualified and trained Para Medical Personnel for the upliftment of a good Health Care System.
